Such a great Mexican Treat, the Churro
Such a great Mexican Treat, the Churro.
The Origin of the Churro has many different stories.
Whether Portuguese sailors, Spanish shepherds, or the Chinese get the credit for inventing the churro, it was during the 16th century, Spanish explorers brought Churros to every port of the new world. They quickly became local favourites and this may be why many countries claim Churros as their own.
The Name of Churro is said; They took some flour, oil and water into open fire and made these long fried dough shapes, which were yummy for the tummy and named it after the “Churra” sheep that they grazed, because these delicacies resembled the sheep’s horns. So began the journey of Churros there Regardless of the name and history, these babies are a great dessert treat, coated with cinnamon sugar these sticks are great tasting.
Was with my family at a Indoor light show called Glow Gardens or Lumaze and was having a great time when we spotted this food truck cart from Tin lizzy selling Churros. Wow that really hit the spot, was a great snack, grab and go dessert while waling around and enjoying all the wonderful lights.
